This was taken somewhere between Biggesee and Listersee in Germany on August 2006.
I have to add that the Biggesee is actually a "man-made" lake. According to the Wikipedia site, 2550 people had to be move to a different place. This is actually kind of the same story of what happened in China with the construction of the Three Gorges Dam, where over 1.9 million people had to find a new place to live.
