Sagrat Cor (Sacred Heart)

This is a photo of the Sagrat Cor (Sacred Heart) church located at the top of the Tibidabo mountain in Barcelona, Spain.

The Sagrat Cor is actually two churches constructed one on top of the other. The first temple is a structure which shows the architecture of the turn of the century. The second one, is Gothic in style with blue-white stones. The first stone was place on 1902 and construction kept going until 1961, when it was finally done.

I have to say that this is not one of the best shots showing the beauty of the temple. However it is an intro to the photos to come this week.
