Wet Apple (II)

SAME APPLE... DIFFERENT SHOT... ;o)

In this shot, I had not the need to make it brighter since it had light enough. Though I used the suggestion from Zahai (see comments on yesterday's post) about darkening a bit the flash's reflection.

After visiting the Digital Photography School Blog and reading their post titled "Speed Photography - How to Photograph Exploding Fruit and Balloons Popping" I thought to myself: "I have to try this too! And, since I have apples in the house, why not start practicing with them!".

Well, it took me around 50 shots until I was able to synchronize the speed in which I was dropping the water, while at the same time pressing the shutter button, and managing not to get all wet or make a mess on the kitchen floor! :o) I did have to play a lot with the cam's manual settings, and adjust the flash compensation (yes, I used the cam's own flash) although I know it is not what the post says but I read and I tried... And most important, I learned new tricks and had fun in the process... Cheers!!!

The rest of the week I'll be posting all of the different things I tried after the "Apple"... Hope you enjoy!
